Cool Volunteer Alert: Join the Wednesday Otter Pop Crew! 🧊✨

We need at least 2 fun parent volunteers to help sell Otter Pops on Wednesdays from 1:15 PM – 2:35 PM.

It’s a quick, easy, and super fun way to hang out, see the kids' smiling faces, and raise money for our school. Come join the team and help us make Wednesdays a little sweeter!

2026-27 PTA Welcome

Dear Ocean View Otters,

Welcome back to school! We hope you had a wonderful summer. We are excited to begin another great year together at Ocean View!

You may be wondering, What is the PTA?

The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a group of parents, caregivers, teachers, and staff who work together to make Ocean View an even better place for our children. Everyone is welcome, and every family belongs in our community.

Ocean View is proud to be Albany's only Title I school, serving families from many different backgrounds, languages, and cultures. The PTA helps make sure every student has access to fun, enriching experiences that help them learn, grow, and feel connected at school.

Last year, PTA funding helped provide:

• Field trips
• Classroom supplies, library support, and teacher grants
• Teacher appreciation events
• Family events and school celebrations
• Assemblies and special student programs during the school day
• Community-building activities throughout the year

One of the easiest ways to support Ocean View is to become a PTA member. You do not have to volunteer or attend meetings to join. Your membership helps fund these opportunities, strengthens our school community, and shows your support for all Ocean View students.
