Fall Festival & Walk-A-Thon

The Fall Festival & Walkathon is open to the Albany community and it is one of Ocean View’s favorite traditions and our largest fundraiser of the year! Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for an unforgettable day of fun, games, and community spirit. Every dollar raised directly supports enrichment programs, field trips, classroom resources, and teacher appreciation for every student at Ocean View.

Walk-a-Thon Registration

Lace up your sneakers! The Walk-a-thon is a fantastic way for students to power our school while having a blast. You can walk, run, dance, or roll laps. Family and friends can sponsor students through our hassle-free Zeffy platform. All students are invited to register and participate, regardless of fundraising. Every dollar counts, and no amount is too small or too large—whether it’s $5, $50, or $500, every gift is needed and deeply appreciated!

Classroom Awards

NEW Registration Challenge: Otter Pops at Fall Festival for the class with the highest percentage of walkers registered!
Grand Prize — Overall School Winner: 🍕 Pizza Party for the top class that raises the most money overall across the entire school!
Grade Level Champions: 🧊 Popsicle Party for the highest-earning class in each grade level (1 winning class per grade).

Individual Student Awards

Students can qualify for an exclusive prize package containing a Certificate of Achievement, a Special Meet & Greet Photo with Ollie the Otter, and an Otter Pop Voucher by achieving either (or both) of the following milestones:

🏃 Most Laps Walked: The top student in each grade who walks the most laps.
💵 Super Fundraiser: Any student who raise $250 or more in walk-a-thon donations!

Game Tickets & Early Bird Savings

Admissions is free. To participate in most carnival games and activities, you will need tickets. Skip the lines on festival day and save money by purchasing your game tickets in advance. Take advantage of our early bird discount package before the pre-sale closes.

Volunteer Opportunities

It takes a village to make the magic happen! We need enthusiastic volunteers for 1-3 hour shifts to help with setup, breakdown, game booths, ticket booths, food sales, and the Walk-a-thon route. Middle schoolers, high schoolers, parents, and community members are all welcome to join the team.
