Why should all Ocean View parents and teachers become members of our PTA?

All Ocean View parents and teachers are encouraged to join our PTA or renew their membership for the 2023–2024 school year ($20 covers the cost of yearly family membership).

Becoming a PTA member does not require that you attend our meetings or volunteer time (although we invite everyone to do so). By becoming a member, you support our basic infrastructure (our website, the tools we use to communicate, etc.), giving us a way to keep everyone up-to-date on school events, volunteer opportunities, and school fundraising programs. Becoming a member also gives you the right to vote on what our PTA does.

Two ways to become a member:

1. Sign up electronically using our secure website and your credit card or PayPal account. 

2. If you prefer to sign up using cash or check: (1) print and fill out this form; (2) put the form in an envelope with $20 cash or with a check for $20 made out to the Ocean View PTA; (3) bring that envelope to the Ocean View front office, and place it in the PTA's lock box there. 

Membership is $20.00 per family.

Just double checking: if I join, do I have to attend meetings or volunteer my time?

No! We'd love to have you at our meetings, but there's no obligation to attend. We also welcome everyone to volunteer time if they're able, but don't require this of our members.
