Ms. Jaramillo’s Class enjoys their post-Walkathon Ice Cream Party. Special thanks to May Beckhusen for organizing, and for tirelessly scooping to provide this tasty reward to students!

Hello Otters,

Fall Festival donations and walkathon winners were treated with an Ice Cream Sundae party this week and the parties for remaining classrooms will continue next week. We are still marveling at how supportive our OV community is and want to thank all of you parents for everything you do for Ocean View.

I would also like to invite you to consider joining the Ocean View School Site Council. The SSC is a team of staff members and parents who work with the principal to develop the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA - also informally called the “Site Plan”) and the programs and action steps that support its implementation.

We need a minimum of 5 parent/community members to join the staff members on the council this year. Meetings are held once a month on Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 pm on Zoom. This year, the meetings will be Jan. 12th, Feb. 16th, Mar. 16th and Apr. 13th. If you are interested in participating please complete this form. We look forward to working with you!
