AUSD values the environment and our students’ health. These values intersect when students are able to use any form of active transportation to get to and from school. Wednesday, April 24, is our spring Walk & Roll To School Day. It’s important because we tally modes of transportation on this day, which allows us to measure progress toward our active transportation goals. Not everyone can walk, bike, or scooter to school—if you can, it adds healthful exercise into your day and reduces traffic.
