Fundraising

Our PTA raises funds to purchase necessary technology, programs, and materials that are not covered by the school's budget. This includes teacher grants, field trips, supplementary educational programs (like Young Authors Book Festival or IXL), classroom libraries, and more. 

How can I help fundraise?

Sign up for AmazonSmile to raise money for Ocean View at no cost to you!

AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for you to support Ocean View every time you shop on Amazon. When you sign up, Amazon will automatically donate .5% of the price of eligible purchases to the Ocean View PTA. Signing up is easy, free, and will directly benefit our students and faculty:

1. Visit http://smile.amazon.com.

2. Select Ocean View PTA, Albany (please be careful to pick the correct Ocean View PTA, as there exist other schools with the same name).

3. You should receive an email confirming your AmazonSmile registration.

Download the Box Tops for Education App and select Ocean View Elementary School

Like AmazonSmile, this is a simple way to raise money for Ocean View throughout the year.

1. Download the Box Tops for Education App on your phone or tablet.

2. Use the zip code 94706 to find and select Ocean View Elementary School.

3. After that, use the app to scan your receipts; the app will automatically find items that qualify for the program, and make a donation to Ocean View.

4. You'll be able to view on the app how much we've collectively raised for the school.

If you donate directly to our PTA, you may be able to double your generous donation with an employer matching program. Many companies in the Bay Area provide matching donations for your charitable donations.
